We had a fantastic time staying in Chalet Cristal this January. Everything from initial booking to the end of the stay was flawless thanks to the great team. The chalet itself is very spacious and does have a 'home away from home' feeling created by quality decor and finishes. It is fully equipped with all the stuff you might need during your stay including raclette machine and BBQ which we have put to good use throughout the week. The centre fireplace as well as the hot tub outside were real crowd pleasers and definitely contributed towards our fantastic time. The chalet is conveniently located just around the corner from the ski bus stop and only 10 minutes walk from the center of Morillon. There is also a great bakery close by for fresh croissants and tasty bread in the morning. Morillon village itself is really charming. All in all, very positive experience and I do recommend Chalet Cristal to everyone. Vito - January 2016

This was a sweet, cosy feel, clean, traditional, spacious chalet. It had plenty of space, hanging space and storage for our three week summer stay. The chalet's location was excellent for Lac Bleu which offered a restaurant, swimming in the lake, crazy golf, high ropes, trampolines, a bar, ice creams and many other various activities for all age ranges. It was well placed for getting to the supermarket which was in between Verchaix and Samoens. There is a fab vintage caravanette nearby the chalet that serves excellent hot food throughout the week. The kitchen was very well stocked for a holiday let & had everything a home would offer in terms of content. We loved having our breakfast on the wrap around verandah each morning looking out at the mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed the chalet's hot tub each evening. One can walk to nearby shops and restaurants in Morillon or cycle/walk to Samoens from the chalet along the river. Clair the owner was excellent from start to finish helping with any questions promptly and gave us tips and ideas for excellent day trips. The Chalet is in an ideal position for most things. We found the chalet very well equipped, with an abundance of crockery and cooking utensils, great to have the children's plates, cups and cutlery also. The living and dining area provided plenty of room for watching TV, playing games, relaxing and eating. Thank you for the safety gates at the top and bottom of the stairs. My husband and I slept in the upstairs double and found it very comfortable. The bed linen and towels were very good and we also found the storage in the bedrooms very good. We used the garden every day rain or shine and loved the hammocks. We would love to stay again winter or summer. The parking area was great for us as we have an 8 seater VW Transporter and some chalets we have stayed in do not have adequate space. McLeod family - July 2015

We had great times in Morillon spending a week in Chalet Cristal during the February half term. The standard of the chalet and staff was excellent. It all felt very well maintained and was very clean. Lovely wood burner and comfortable sofas. Bedrooms all a good size and well appointed. Excellent boot room with heated boot rack then walk 10 yards and jump in the covered hot tub which caters for 6 comfortably. It was our first time in this ski area and we really enjoyed it. Morillon was a friendly village and nearby Samoens lovely too. Both 5/10 minute drive from the ski lifts - perfectly positioned! Thank you for a lovely holiday. We would love to come back soon. We had a fantastic week at Chalet Cristal which is large and spacious, beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds and duvets, fluffy towels and ample bathrooms added to our comfortable stay and the lovely spacious lounge with log fire, large sofas and satellite TV made for great evenings in after a nice home-cooked meal! The location is great - the ski bus stop being just at the end of the street and a cute little pizzeria (great pizzas!) just round the corner. The chalet is in a quiet little hamlet which makes for a lovely peaceful holiday but Morillon is close enough for a walk if you need more shops, bars and restaurants. The Carrefour supermarket is conveniently not too far away along the road to Samoens if you've a car and Samoens itself, like Morillon, is a charming little town. All in all, a wonderful place to spend a holiday and I'm sure we'll be tempted back there in the future. Christina - February 2015
